Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is a talented American actor who has performed as a writer, singer, director and producer. Her most famous role is being the character Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson is also the director of her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and played the main actress in these films. In addition, she appeared in the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was born on the 8th of January 1977, in Birmingham Alabama the daughter of Diane and Edward Benson a psychiatrist. Danielle is the younger sibling and is an artist. Her father is Jewish as is her mom. She raised Southern Baptist Benson grew up attending a Reform synagogue in Alabama. After Buffy came to an end, Benson has been in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. Behind the camera, she used her writing abilities to work on the Ghosts of Albion series and directed on projects like the 2010's Drones. Buffy states that, after taking the time to count them and identify the Slayers, she discovered around 1800 Slayers all over the world from which 500 belong with The Scooby Gang. Slayers may be awakened once they attain their maturation. Soledad, for example was awakened when she turned sixteen. Ruth Connell has been cast as Rowena for Season 10 Supernatural. She's a mysterious witch who was a student at the old school.
